This article applies to:

State TI mapping for returns

You can create mapping for income, financial, and insurance returns.

To add and map subcategories, go to Charts
, State TI Forms Mapping
, and select Return Type
: Income Tax, Financial, or Insurance.

Enter a name for the chart in one of the following formats which coincide with the return type:

Income Tax - PrefixStateNameIncTax

Financial - PrefixStateNameFin

Insurance - PrefixStateNameInsurance

You can turn off automatic calculations in one of two ways:

Map the line in the Forms Mapping chart for the state. This allows you to enter data for the subcategory in the State TI Workpaper, or

Globally turn off automatic entries in the Enterprise Control Panel (ECP):

Go to Batch
, Batch Process
.

Select a binder, and then Next
.

Choose Task
, State
, and then State TI Workpapers
.

Select Select Binders
or Binder Group
.

Select the binders or group to apply this option.

Go to the Options
tab and select Yes
to suppress system automatic calculations.
