Review anomalies

Filter the list, open an anomaly, and drill into affected invoices to understand what changed.
Open the dashboard and select a date range.
  1. Narrow the list using the
    Anomaly Type
    ,
    Priority
    ,
    Company
    , and
    Country
    filters.
You can combine filters to isolate high-risk anomalies that affect a specific region, legal entity, or transaction volume.
The dashboard shows applied filters as chips with a count badge. To remove all filters, select
    Clear All
. To see the filters that a “+N more” indicator hides, hover over the indicator.
  2. Open an anomaly to see its detail view.
The detail view shows the fields that are relevant to the anomaly type. For a Tax Rate anomaly, the Comparative Analysis table shows the previous rate, new rate, variance, expected tax, calculated tax, and difference.
    note
These figures are approximate. The previous rate is the most recently available rate from the day before. The new rate is the latest rate on the calculation date.
If the new rate is 0%, the detail view includes a note that the system calculated no tax for that line. This can be expected rather than an error.
  3. Review the
    Affected Invoices
    table following the summary.
The table lists every invoice that the anomaly affects. The columns include invoice number, invoice date, company name, invoice tax amount, and line numbers. They also include the current and historical values that the system compares (rate, authority, or certificate, depending on the anomaly type). To reveal additional fields, select
    Show more columns
    .
A warning triangle marks the anomalous value and shows which type of anomaly the system detected for that invoice.
    note
Don't confuse the warning triangle with the hexagon marker inside each invoice.
  4. Select an invoice number to open the invoice.
    1. A hexagon marker appears next to the lines or tax blocks that caused the anomaly.
A hexagon marker appears next to the specific lines or tax blocks that caused the anomaly. To list only the flagged lines, turn on
    View Only Anomalous Lines
    .
  5. Compare the
    Current
    tab with the
    Historical
    tabs.
Historical invoices are clean, non-anomalous transactions for the same authority and company. Use them to identify what changed in the anomalous invoice.
You can now decide whether the anomaly is expected.
