Rule output

Rule output lets you configure additional information to be returned with transactions when a tax rule is applied. This feature lets you specify custom data that can be used for reporting, auditing, or other business purposes.
Go to the
Rule output
tab within the Rule configuration for ONESOURCE Indirect Tax to find the rule output. When creating or modifying a rule output, an asterisk indicates the required fields. These include:
  • Name
  • Value
  • Start Date
  • End Date
ONESOURCE Indirect Tax provides functionalities to manage your rule outputs effectively.
  • You can add new entries, modify existing ones, or remove them.
  • All existing rule outputs are presented in a grid format. You can sort the columns to organize the information as needed.
  • For a more comprehensive view, select
    Show more columns
    to view additional details.
  • If you have several rule outputs, use pagination to find them easily.
Remember to save any changes you make when you add, edit, or delete to apply them. You can select and delete multiple rule outputs simultaneously. However, editing is restricted to 1 rule output at a time.
When you delete a record, it is only removed from the grid temporarily. The deletion becomes permanent only after you save your changes. The system doesn't notify you when you delete a record from the grid. Once you save your modifications, the Output XML file will reflect the updated information.
