About child transacting companies

A child transacting company has both a tax data provider and a custom data provider. It doesn't maintain tax or custom data but it may maintain its own tax jurisdiction data or inherit this data from its custom data provider.
Transacting company data includes (which is independent of its tax data provider or custom data provider):
  • Company, tax, and logic preferences
  • Custom fields
  • Established authorities and zones (if set on the
    Groups & Inheritance
    page)
  • Locations and location sets
  • Product mappings and product mapping groups (this may be inherited from the custom data provider)
  • Registrations and registration groups (this may be inherited from the custom data provider)
  • Roles
  • TransEditors and TransEditor groups
  • Users
  • Model Scenarios
