Data file integrator (DFI)

Create a migration file

In Data File Integrator (DFI), you can create a migration file and import it.
important
You must be assigned the DFI Configurator role to use this functionality.
  1. Go to
    DFI Mappings
    , and then
    Generate Migration File
    .
  2. Enter the
    Target Tenant
     and
    External Company ID
    . After you enter this information, a <mapping name>.zip file's created, which includes the <mapping name>.migration file. This file contains all the mapping details except the user credentials.
  3. You can then import the file by going to
    Add Service Mappings
    , and selecting
    Import File
    .
  4. Browse to the file, and select
    Import
    .
    note
    A migration file with a .zip extension containing .migration file(s) can't have the same name as an existing zipped file.
