View instance details
The Determination Anywhere (DA) dashboard is the central hub. It helps you monitor the health, status, and configuration of deployed DA instances. The main grid provides an at-a-glance summary, so you can assess operational status quickly across your environment.
From this screen, you can select any instance to open a detailed information panel about data configuration, content versions, and update history. Use this view for routine maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
To view a DA instance:
- Go to .
- Find the instance you want to inspect in the grid.
- Select the hyperlinked name of the instance in the Instance column.

The instance details window organizes information into sections. The status and hub sections give a summary. It shows the instance’s health and its link to a DA hub. The application, content, and configuration sections cover application versions, tax content, and system configuration settings. The Mothership configuration section shows prefetch scheduling, change log, and data streaming status for the instance.
- Review instance information:Organizes data into sections for status and hub, application, content, and configuration, and Mothership configuration.
- View hub details:If the instance belongs to a hub,View detailsisenabled. Select it to open theHub detailswindow and view all instances in the hub.
- View pods details:In the Application section, selectView podsto open the pods list for this instance.
- View errors:If the status isError, aView errorslink appears. Select it to open the detailed error log page.
- Move between instances:SelectNext instanceorPrevious instanceto move between instances without closing the window.importantThe navigation follows the DA Dashboard’s sort order and filters. For example, if you filter to show only error instances, the navigation moves only through those instances.
- SelectCloseorXto close the window.
Field descriptions
Field element | Description |

Status | The current health of the instance. A green icon indicates Active . A red icon indicates anError state. |
View errors | A link that appears only when the status is Error . Goes to a detailed error page for the instance. |
Hub | Displays the name of the Hub the instance belongs to. Shows N/A if the instance isn't part of a hub. |
View details | Displays next to the Hub name. It is enabled only if the instance is part of a hub. This opens the Hub details screen. |

DA last update | The date and time of the last successful update to the DA application on this instance. |
Pending audit sync | The number of pending audit records that are waiting for synchronization. |
Pods | Goes to the Pods details screen. Displays the name of the Pod the instance belongs to. |

U.S. tax data version | The version of the U.S. tax-related content (rates, rules) that is currently active on the instance. |
U.S. tax data last update | The date and time when the U.S. tax data was last updated. |
INTL tax data version | The version of the international tax-related content that is currently active on the instance. |
INTL tax data last update | The date and time when the international tax-related data was last updated. |
Content update frequency | Indicates how often the instance is scheduled to check for and apply new content updates (for example, Every 5 minutes). Indicates data sync to database frequency. |

Native user last update | The date and time of the last update made to native user settings. |
Configuration last update | The date and time of the last update to system configurations. A New badge may appear to indicate a recent change. |
Last change log ID synced | Displays the ID of the most recent change log synced to the instance (for example, 01KWNR9WHBGEV1EQECK9VS8MEM). The value refreshes each time new changes are successfully synced with client. |
Next scheduled update | Displays the status of the next configuration update. Possible values include a specific date/time, No update (if current),In Progress , orCompleted successfully . |
Configuration update frequency | This indicates how often the instance is scheduled to check for and apply new configuration updates. |

Prefetch frequency | Indicates how often the Mothership is scheduled to generate prefetch data for this instance (for example, Every 30 minutes). |
Last change log ID generated | Displays the ID of the most recent change log generated by the Mothership (for example, 01KXG7ZRTPRGTYPJQQ0PXHDNX7). |
Next prefetch update | The date and time of the next scheduled prefetch data generation for this instance. |
Streaming paused | Indicates whether data streaming to this instance is currently paused. Displays Yes or No. |
Streaming paused due to | Displays the reason streaming is paused, shown only when Streaming paused is Yes; displays N/A when Streaming paused is No. Possible values include

Example use case
Scenario: A tax administrator needs to verify that a specific DA instance received newly released international tax rates.
- The administrator goes to theDA Dashboardand searches for theprod-aws-eu3-w4ainstance.
- They'll select theprod-aws-eu3-w4ainstance name to open the DA instance details window.
- The status showsActive, verifying the instance is running correctly.
- They verify the INTL tax data last update matches the recent deployment window in the Content section. The INTL tax data version also matches the expected version.
- Close the window to return to the main dashboard after the verification is complete. The administrator completes the verification in seconds without losing context or going elsewhere.
