Dynamic request mapping - Split mapping

Split a single Oracle Fusion field into multiple ONESOURCE fields with dynamic request mapping.
Dynamic request mapping provides the ability to map fields from the Oracle Fusion request payload that are not directly mapped to the ONESOURCE payload.
The split mapping now lets you:
  • Split a single source field into multiple values using a specific delimiter.
  • Map those values to multiple target elements in the destination payload.
This provides greater flexibility in transforming request data and reduces the need for multiple source fields or additional BIP queries to populate related target attributes.

  • You can combine multiple BIP queries into a single query instead of having separate queries for each passed element.
  • Make sure that the attributes used in dynamic mapping are not overriding the attributes sent from the BIP report.
Follow these steps to define a split mapping.
  1. In the Oracle Fusion integration area, go to the
    Dynamic mapping
     tab.
  2. Create a new mapping.
  3. In the
    Mapping Type
     field, select 1 of the following.
    • Direct
       - A source element is mapped to a single destination element.
    • Split
       - A delimiter in the source fields maps a single source element to multiple target elements.
  4. Add segments as needed.
  5. Select an option from the
    Delimiter
     field.
