The 2026.03 release of ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Configuration APIs expands users' ability to support programmatic configuration enabling automated tax jurisdiction setup and maintenance workflows.

GET AUTHORITY OPTIONS (5113699)
A new web service endpoint is available to retrieve Authority Options from the system. This allows clients to obtain and utilize authority option details for their tax calculation configurations, providing greater visibility and control over authority-specific settings.
POST AUTHORITY OPTIONS (5113701)
A new web service endpoint is available to create Authority Options for authorities within a company. This enables clients to programmatically define and configure authority-specific options, supporting more flexible and automated tax calculation setups.
PATCH AUTHORITY OPTIONS (5113702)
A new web service endpoint is available to update existing Authority Options for authorities. This allows clients to modify authority option configurations as business requirements evolve, ensuring that tax calculations remain accurate and up to date.
DELETE AUTHORITY OPTIONS (5113704)
A new web service endpoint is available to delete Authority Options for authorities. Upon successful deletion, all associated child entities — including authority requirements — are automatically removed, ensuring data integrity across the tax configuration.
POST AUTHORITY TYPES (5168175)
A new web service endpoint is available to create Authority Types. This allows clients to define custom authority classifications, enabling more precise categorization and management of tax authorities within their configurations.
PATCH AUTHORITY TYPES (5168187)
A new web service endpoint is available to update existing Authority Types. This provides clients with the ability to modify authority type definitions as their tax configuration needs change, maintaining consistency across related tax calculations.
DELETE AUTHORITY TYPES (5168192)
A new web service endpoint is available to delete Authority Types. Upon successful deletion, all associated child entities are automatically removed, preserving data integrity across the full tax configuration.
GET CONTRIBUTING AUTHORITIES (5168435)
A new web service endpoint is available to retrieve Contributing Authorities. This enables clients to access detailed information about contributing authorities, supporting more informed and transparent tax calculation decisions.
POST CONTRIBUTING AUTHORITIES (5168437)
A new web service endpoint is available to create Contributing Authorities. This allows clients to programmatically add contributing authorities to their tax configurations, streamlining the setup of complex, multi-authority tax scenarios.
PATCH CONTRIBUTING AUTHORITIES (5168438)
A new web service endpoint is available to update existing Contributing Authorities. Clients can now modify contributing authority records to reflect changes in tax jurisdiction requirements, ensuring ongoing accuracy in tax calculations.
DELETE CONTRIBUTING AUTHORITIES (5168447)
A new web service endpoint is available to delete Contributing Authorities. Upon successful deletion, all associated child entities are automatically removed, maintaining the integrity of the overall tax configuration.
GET RULES (5076247)
A new web service endpoint is available to retrieve rules for custom authorities. This allows clients to access and review the rules governing their tax calculations, supporting auditability and configuration transparency.

A new web service endpoint is available to retrieve detailed rule information for custom authorities. This provides clients with granular visibility into individual rule configurations, enabling more precise management and troubleshooting of tax calculation logic.
