Product classification suggestions
GET Tenant Classification Preferences (4448042)
A new web service endpoint is available to retrieve tenant-specific preferences for classification suggestions, including suggestion count and similarity score visibility. This allows clients to confirm how many commodity code suggestions the system returns per product and whether similarity scores are displayed; if no preferences are configured, the system defaults to three suggestions with similarity scores shown.
PUT Tenant Classification Preferences (4448042)
A new web service endpoint is available to create or update tenant-specific preferences for classification suggestions. This allows clients with the Company Administrator role to configure the suggestion count (three, four, or five) and similarity score visibility for their tenant; only one preference record is allowed per tenant.
POST Product Classification Suggestions (4448042)
A new web service endpoint is available to generate product classification suggestions using an AI-powered similarity search model. This allows clients to submit product descriptions — individually or in batches of up to 100 — and receive the top three matching commodity codes with categories, definitions, similarity scores, and taxability information; the operation is asynchronous and returns a tracking ID.
POST Product Classification Suggestions from CSV (4448042)
A new web service endpoint is available to generate product classification suggestions by uploading a CSV file of product descriptions and codes. This allows clients to submit bulk classification requests and retrieve a tracking ID to poll for status and results; suggestions include the top three matching commodity codes with categories, definitions, similarity scores, and taxability information.
GET Product Classification Suggestions (4448042)
A new web service endpoint is available to retrieve completed classification suggestions that are pending a mapping decision. This allows clients to review product details and the top three commodity code suggestions, with support for filtering by product code and date range.
DELETE Product Classification Suggestions (4448042)
A new web service endpoint is available to delete classification suggestions. This allows clients to remove one or more suggestions in a single or batch request; deletions are soft deletes that preserve audit history.
GET Classification Operation Status (4448042)
A new web service endpoint is available to check the processing status of an asynchronous classification operation using its tracking ID. This allows clients to poll for completion of CSV uploads or large batch classification requests.
GET Classification Operation Results (4448042)

A new web service endpoint is available to export classification mappings to Excel (.xlsx) format. This allows clients to download mapping details — including product codes, commodity codes, categories, definitions, mapping types, similarity scores, rationales, and audit information — for offline analysis and reporting, with support for filtering and an optional list of mapping IDs.
PATCH Classification Mapping Product Code (4448042)
A new web service endpoint is available to update the product code for a specific classification mapping. This allows clients to correct the product code on an existing mapping without affecting other mapping details, such as commodity code or rationale.
Fixes
Facility ID Field Support for Operating Licenses (5440024)
Config APIs for Operating Licenses now support the Facility ID field across GET, POST, PATCH, and DELETE operations. This aligns Config APIs with Determination's site-level tax treatment capability, allowing clients to create, retrieve, update, and remove Facility ID values for customers operating multiple facilities under the same license, such as oil and gas companies with multiple locations.
Duplicate Operating License Numbers by Facility ID (5442019)
Config APIs for Operating Licenses now allow duplicate License Numbers for the same customer when each record is associated with a different Facility ID. This supports scenarios where regulatory authorities issue the same license number across multiple facilities; when Facility ID is not provided, duplicate validation continues to fall back to the combination of customer and License Number, allowing only one such record.
Exchange Rate Date Range Validation (5321479)
An issue was reported where the POST and PATCH Exchange Rates endpoints restricted the Start Date to no more than 540 days in the past and the End Date to no more than 90 days in the future, which was inconsistent with the date ranges supported through the UI and manual CSV upload. This issue has been resolved: the Start Date restriction has been extended to 5 years in the past, while the 90-day restriction on future-dated End Dates remains in place. GET requests are not affected by this restriction.
Exchange Rate Bulk Load Performance (5463981)
An issue was reported where loading exchange rates through the batch Exchange Rates endpoint experienced significant performance degradation for high-volume customers, including gateway timeout errors and incorrect duplicate or overlap validation errors. This issue has been resolved, and the endpoint now supports bulk exchange rate loads with improved response times.
GET Authorities and GET Certificates Performance Improvements (5441054)
The GET Authorities and GET Certificates endpoints have been optimized with redesigned SQL queries to reduce response times. This improves overall API performance for clients performing high-volume authority and certificate lookups.
