DA Store – Rule Not Applied During Effective Date Transition (5465941)
An issue was identified in the DA Store application where, during a rule effective-date transition for an authority (when one rule expired and a new rule became effective), the newly effective rule was not being selected on its first effective day. As a result, tax was not applied to the affected commodity, and requests could return NO_RULE_FOUND errors.
This issue was traced to the rule selection logic and has been corrected. The updated logic now ensures that the appropriate rule is correctly applied during effective-date transitions, preventing similar tax calculation and rule resolution issues in the future.
