Determination Anywhere 2026.04 patch release notes

Please review this release note in conjunction with the Determination Enterprise Cloud release notes, which outline key updates to the core application. These include enhancements to the tax engine logic, regulatory compliance improvements, UI feature upgrades, and may also highlight defect resolutions and known issues – all of which directly impact the tax engine's functionality within Determination Anywhere (DA).

This patch fixes an issue identified on the DA app.

Fixes

The following topics outline previously identified issues that have been resolved in this release.
TDSS and Telemetry Configuration fixes for DA deployments (5592686)
Customers encountered deployment issues caused by TDSS and Telemetry configuration errors, preventing the DA application from deploying successfully and leaving environments in a pending state. To address these issues, the following improvements were implemented:
  • Removed the duplicate configuration key 
    sdi.importstate.experimentalFeatureEnabled
     from the TDSS configmap
  • Updated the telemetry-client service account configuration to properly process
    imagePullSecrets
     configuration
  • Enhanced installer chart logic to ensure the
    determination-anywhere-image-pull-secret
     renders correctly even when no imagePullSecrets are defined
  • Added validation checks to detect and prevent duplicate ConfigMap keys during deloyment
With these enhancements, customers can successfully deploy and upgrade to DA 2026.04 without encountering TDSS configuration or telemetry deployment failures. Deployments now complete reliably, allowing the application to become available as expected and ensuring uninterrupted access to tax determination services.
