Determination Anywhere 2026.01 second hot fix release notes

Please review this release note in conjunction with the Determination – Enterprise Cloud (EC) release notes, which outline key updates to the core application. These include enhancements to the tax engine logic, regulatory compliance improvements, UI feature upgrades, and may also highlight defect resolutions and known issues – all of which directly impact the tax engine's functionality within Determination Anywhere (DA).

Critical Security Vulnerabilities (5086560)
This patch release resolves critical security vulnerabilities identified in the Determination Anywhere (DA) client-side application. The fixes specifically apply to the tax calculation component of the tax engine and address the following CVEs:
  • CVE-2025-12383.
  • CVE-2025-69421. This is also identified in the sync and APM components of the DA Store application. Remediation of those components will be included in the forthcoming DA release.
DA Store Performance Issue (5085999)
A performance issue was identified in the DA Store application following a general logic change introduced in the tax engine as part of the 2026.01 release. This issue specifically affected DA Store scenarios that relied on the updated logic. The change has been reverted in this patch to restore expected performance.
Additional targeted performance improvements for the DA Store will be delivered in the forthcoming DA release.
