Inclusive Tax: Tax basis and tax rate now calculated from net amount (5819964)
Determination now calculates the tax basis and tax rate from the net amount instead of the gross amount, when the Inclusive Tax Indicator is set, resolving tax results that previously differed from expected. This applies across all tax types, including VAT, GST, and sales and use tax. The resolution corrects the following related issues:
- The tax block now returns the provided gross amount instead of the adjusted gross amount rather than the adjusted gross amount.
- Credit note transactions return the actual taxable basis instead of the gross amount.
- Input recoverable percentage and amount scenarios related to VAT and GST now work correctly with inclusive tax.
Previously, the tax basis and tax rate were derived from the gross amount, which produced tax results that differed from expected.
