Customer Certificate report

This report enables you to identify certificate and license data requiring revision. It also gives you additional information that assists with other data maintenance tasks.
This report's the equivalent of 4 sub-reports from the Indirect Tax legacy Reports system:
  • Customer report:
     This report lists customers sorted by company and customer group. It gives you an overview of all customer information according to the parameters you select. You can use this report to identify customer information needing revision.
  • Customer Licenses report:
     This report lists permanent licenses, temporary licenses, or both so you know which licenses expire within the date range you specify. You can use this report to identify license information needing revision.
  • Exemption Certificates report:
     This report lists zones and authorities to which exemption certificates are applied and which ones will expire within the date range you specify.
  • Exemption Certificates Limited Use report:
     This report is similar to the Exemption Certificates report. Limited use rules apply to exemption certificates regardless of where the certificate's applied. This report separates limited use certificates from other exemption certificates so that you can view the detail more easily. Each certificate includes child referenced certificates. For example, if 1 certificate applies to 3 zones and has 3 limited use criteria, the report gives 6 lines for 1 certificate. You can manage the amount of data in the report by restricting the number of companies or adjusting the filters and parameters.

Lists all companies in the database that are available to you based upon your Reports & Analytics permissions. Select 1 or more company names. If you don't see a company you need, have your admin user review your permissions and adjust them if necessary.

Specifies where the date falls within the given date range. If you use this parameter, select from:
  • Active in Range (the date is valid anywhere between start and end dates)
  • Start Date in Range (the start date falls anywhere between the start and end dates)
  • End Date in Range (the end date falls anywhere between the start and end dates)

Start date for the given date range. Enter the date or use the calendar to select the date. The date must be in YYYY-MM-DD format.

End date (inclusive) for the date range given. Enter the date or use the calendar to select the date. The date must be in YYYY-MM-DD format.
