Reports & Analytics overview

You can run reports and export data against your audit and tax transactions and tax results in Reports & Analytics.

Grant permissions

Before you can access and use Reports & Analytics, you must first have an administrative user configure your permissions and authorizations for:
  • ONESOURCE platform
  • Indirect Tax Reports & Analytics
After your profile's created on the ONESOURCE platform, you must be granted permission to access and use ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Reports & Analytics.
Admin roles are cascading by default, meaning that the permissions granted will include the permissions of the lower roles. For example, someone with the User Administration role will also have the permissions of the Company Administrator and Data Manager roles.

Description
User Administration
Enables full access to administer Users and Roles. This role's required to manage users and user roles for a given company and its child companies.
Company Administrator
Ability to add, modify and delete companies in Indirect Tax Cloud.
Data Manager
Ability to import and export data.
Standard access roles aren't cascading by default.
Role
Description
Certificate Admin
Ability to add, edit, and delete customers and exemption certificates as well as manage exempt reason codes.
Certificate User
Ability to add or edit customers and certificates. Unable to delete customers or certificates as well as unable to approve certificates.
Certificate View Only
Ability to view Exemption Certificates and customers only.
Power User
Ability to manage as well as delete all company configurations except for users and company structure. Ability to post transactions.
Reporting User
Ability to run reports.
Research User
Ability to manage Rate Search, Model Scenarios and view ONESOURCE Content.
Standard User
Ability to create and edit all configurations but unable to delete them. Not able to audit transactions.
View Only User
View only access to configurations. Doesn't include reports.
