Export individual data
Consider these notes about individual data exports:
- You can only export or import a single type of configuration data for a single company at a time.
- You can't export inactive groups.
- Model Scenario exports don't include related configurations, such as lookup lists. You must migrate those configurations separately.
- If the data type selected for your export's inherited from an ancestor company, the export includes only that ancestor company's data.
- You can only export exempt reasons and exemption certificates for the active customer group.
- Go toTools,Administration, and thenExport and Import.
- Find your company and then selectExport.
- SelectIndividual Data, and then select the type of configuration you want to export.
- SelectNext.
- SelectExport.noteYou may not see your browser's save dialog immediately. The time taken to create your export file depends on the number of records included.
- Choose a location and save your export file.
- A tax jurisdiction export creates 2 files. Make sure you save both files. You can import them in any order.
- Don't edit the XML file within your export or you may corrupt the data in your destination environment.
