Set up companies for VCTV

To set up a company for Vendor Charged Tax Verification (VCTV) processing:
  • Inheritance for the VCTV feature's the same as inheritance for other features, where the child company inherits the values from the parent company. For example, if the parent company's selected in the VCTV dropdown list, then the vendor charged tax values provided fro in the parent company are the same as for the child company.
  • If the parent company's removed from the Groups & Inheritance page for a child company, the child company reverts to the last selection for the child company.

  2. Either add a company or edit an existing one.
  3. Select
    Groups & Inheritance
    .
  4. Review the
    Vendor Charged Tax Verification
     dropdown list. The default company is the company you're setting up. If you want the company to inherit the vendor charged configurations from its parent company, select the parent company name.
  5. Select
    Save
    .
