Error - Authentication failure. Your ONESOURCE universal ID has not been authorized to access ONESOURCE

Scenario

You may get the following error message when starting the system.
Error message
Authentication failure. Your ONESOURCE universal ID has not been authorized to access ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Compliance. Please contact your administrator. The ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Compliance session has ended.

Cause

This error's caused when your account hasn't been authorized within the Indirect Tax Compliance system.

Solution

As an administrator:
  1. Open ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Compliance.
  2. Go to Tools, Security, Access Control, and then Unauthorized Users.
  3. Select the user and then Authorize.
