Update the status of filed returns automatically
You can configure the status of returns filed electronically, or child returns where the parent filed electronically, to update automatically after successful filing. An administrator will need to turn on this setting, as it's off by default.
When turned on, the
Status
column on the Returns page will display Filed
for successfully filed returns and Final
for returns with a successfully filed parent.
- Go toAdministration.
- From the list of options, selectSettings.
- Check the checkbox besideAutomatically update return status to 'filed/final' when return is successfully e-filed.
