Finland ESL

You can export the Finland ESL Report to your local computer, run a macro provided by the Finnish tax authorities, then manually file the return to the tax authority.
  1. Open the return you want to file.
  2. Go to the sheet VA2 (ESL Export Report).
  3. On the toolbar, select Save and select
    Save to Excel
    from the menu.
  4. Select
    VA2
    .
    note
    Be sure to select VA2.This is the format supported by the macro provided by Finnish Tax Authority.
  5. Open the saved Excel file.
  6. Copy and paste the data from the excel file to the macro
    ALVYhteenveto
    .
  7. Select
    Tee tiedosto
    to run the macro.
  8. Select
    Yes
    to accept the new path created for your TXT output.
  9. Choose the name for the output file.
The TXT file is ready to be filed to the Authority portal.
