Italy ESPL

You can export the Italy ESPL Report to your local computer and manually file the return to the tax authority.
  1. Open the return you want to file.
  2. On the toolbar, select eFile on the toolbar.
  3. Select
    Aggregated ESPL and Intrastat - TXT
     and select
    Next
    .
  4. Check the status and download the exported file. If the return has passed the validation, the
    E-Filing Status
     will be
    Passed Validation
    .
  5. Select
    Exports
    to download the exported file.
  6. To complete the process, there is an additional step specific to Italy ESPL you must follow before uploading to the Authorities portal. To be accepted by the authorities, the file containing the Intrastat data must be named as follows:
    <codiceUA><data>.l<nn>
    Where:
    • codiceUA
      is the fixed part that is assigned to the taxpayer, 4 alphanumeric characters
    • data
       is the date of transfer of the flow (MMGG)
    • l
       is the Intrastat listing
    • nn is the number of files sent on the same date
    For example: XXXXMMGG.I01
    The extension "p7m" will be given to the file "XXXXMMGG.I01" as soon as the digital signature has been added.
  7. Next, go to the following website and download the Intraweb program. Follow the instructions to upload the return. (This is a one-time step.)
