Netherlands VAT return e-filing

ONESOURCE Indirect Tax supports filing the Netherlands VAT return to Digipoorts.
  1. Open the Netherlands VAT return you want to e-file.
  2. Select
    eFile
    on the toolbar to open the wizard.
  3. On the
    1 Filings
    tab, Select
    VAT Declaration
    , then select
    NEXT
    .
  4. On the
    2 Actions
    tab, select
    File
    , then select
    NEXT
    .
  5. Enter the Company URL and password.
    1. Open the Command Prompt as an administrator.
    2. Run the following command:
      C:\WINDOWS\system32>certutil -dump "<path to client authentication certificate along with certificate file name>"
    3. When prompted, enter the PFX password. Note that the password will not be visible as you type.
    4. The certificate information will be displayed in the same window.

  6. On the
    3 Authentication
    tab, upload the certificate by dragging a file onto the page, or select
    Browse for File
    and navigate to the document.
  7. Select
    NEXT
    . Once the return has been sent to ONESOURCE E-Filing Manager successfully, the
    Status
    tab opens and displays a confirmation message.
  8. Select
    Refresh Status
    to check the status. Once the return has been sent to Digipoorts successfully, the e-filing status will be
    Pending on Digipoorts
    .

Checking the Status

  1. Re-launch the wizard and select
    Check Status
    on the
    Actions
    tab to check the status from Digipoorts.
  2. Select
    Next
    .
  3. If the return was successfully filed with Digipoorts, the e-filing status on the
    4 Status
    tab will be
    Successful (E File)
    .
  4. Select the
    Exports
    button to download the receipt.
You can also check the filing status from the Exports window. Select
Returns
>
Exports
. The
Export File
column shows the filing status. You can double-click the link in the
Receipt
column to download the receipt as an HTML file.
