Import warnings

There are standard exception tests that run automatically on import and can be viewed from the
Warnings
 column on the
Import Details
 screen.
  1. To view import warnings, select
    Transactions
    , then
    Import Details
    .
  2. In the
    Active
     column, select the count for any successful import.
Example standard warnings are below:
  • Missing transactional data, such as Invoice ID, commodity codes for Intrastats.
  • Tax rate discrepancy where the tax on the transaction is different from expected tax code rate.
  • Unusual reporting date where the date falls on a weekend or jurisdiction bank holiday.
You can also add custom warnings. You should discuss this with the implementation team.
The warnings may be valid and require no further action, or they may require you to edit and update the transaction.

Filtering on warnings

You can apply a filter to the list to show warnings for the import to show only transactions with a specific warning.
  1. From the
    Import Details
     screen (
    Transactions
    , then
    Import Details
    ), select the hyperlink in the
    Active
     column to open the
    Transaction Details
     view.

  2. Select the filter icon Dropdown arrow to the right of the word Warning. in the
    Warnings
     column.
  3. From the list, select a warning to filter the list to show only transactions with the specific warning you selected.
Entity permissions warning
If the source includes entities that you do not have permission to access, the message "
You do not have access to some of the entities. Load transactions associated to entities with write/read only access.
" appears.

Administrators can configure entity permissions to be automatically enabled when a user drills down into import import details.
