Return functions

About returns functions

Returns
contains all returns for entities that you have permission to view, and is organized by datasets. A dataset is a snapshot of data for a particular reporting period and purpose (Return, Corrective Return, Other). Each return belongs to a dataset.
When you first log in to ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Compliance, the landing page shows your recently viewed returns.
  • The
    Recent Returns
     dropdown shows the 100 most recent returns the you have accessed.
  • The
    Returns up to 2 years
     dropdown displays returns created within a two-year range from the current date, based on the return creation date.
    • This screen features a date picker. You can use it to specify a custom date range for displaying returns, extending beyond 2 years.
    • The date picker defaults to a 1 year range. You can adjust this range to a maximum of 2 years between the "from" and "to" dates, which offers flexibility in data selection.
    • Validation messages assist users in choosing valid date ranges using the date picker.
  • Any filters you apply are retained per session. Filters don't reset when you go to other screens or refresh the screen.
  • Filter enhancements to support functions and conditions are available.
  • This screen also includes performance enhancements based on customer feedback on rendering of this screen.
