Intrastat Returns - VC

The
Intrastat
(
VC
) is a standard sheet that appears by default in all calculations for which Intrastat is required. It lists the movement of goods between EU countries and distinguishes between arrivals and dispatches.

Import of Data

Unlike ESL and EPL returns, Intrastat data is not driven by tax code and usually comes from a different source than the Return, ESL, or EPL.
To populate the Intrastat, you must import Intrastat data. The
Import Type
must be set to
Intrastat Arrivals/Dispatches
.

Jurisdictions

For most jurisdictions, there are four different sheets for Intrastats:
  • VC
(Intrastat Arrivals) – Lists all purchase of goods transactions.
  • VC2
(Intrastat Arrivals Aggregated) – Same as above but aggregates similar transactions.
  • VC3
(Intrastat Dispatches) - Lists all sales of goods transactions.
  • VC4
(Intrastat Dispatches Aggregated) - Same as
    VC3
    but aggregates similar transactions.
These sheets may have some different conditions and output fields depending on the jurisdiction, but the main logic is the same.

Aggregation

Transactions are aggregated by default.
