Tax code

You can use the Tax Code Chart to cross-reference your internal tax codes to the system tax authorities and tax names. By creating this cross-reference chart, you can create balance import files for transaction data without having to change your internal tax codes on the files.

Each record in a chart requires an entry in the Code and Description fields and a selection from the Region, Tax Level, Tax Authority, and Tax Name drop-down lists.

You can assign a code within a chart only once.
