Locations Import overview

Locations Import allows you to streamline the process of setting up locations by importing data from a file.

You can use Locations Import to:

Create several locations records at one time.

Include information in an import file that completes several fields on multiple location returns and outlet schedules.

Import data from a .csv file.

The Options window of the Locations Import wizard is where you can make selections to optimize and personalize your import requirements.

Add New Entries
- Adds a record only if the code on the import record doesn't match an existing code in Locations.

Add and Replace Existing Entries

Add a record if a code on the import record doesn't match an existing code in Locations.

Replaces an existing record with a record from the import if the code on the import record matches a code in Locations.

Replace Only

Replaces an existing record with a record from the import if the code on the import record matches a code in Locations.

Ignores records that are considered new and doesn't add them.
