All of the following tax rate changes were incorporated into the application. Listed changes are effective March 1, 2026, unless noted otherwise.

  • Monroeville and Monroeville Police Jurisdiction changed tax administration from Avenu to ADOR for sales, use, rental, and lodgings taxes; Police Jurisdiction rates are ½ the corporate limit rates.
  • Smiths Station changed tax administration from Avenu to ADOR for sales, use, rental, and lodgings taxes; taxes are not levied in the Police Jurisdiction.
Illinois locals

Indiana locals
  • The City of Richmond, Indiana imposed a Food and Beverage tax at a rate of 1.000%.
  • The Town of Shipshewana, Indiana has increased their Food and Beverage tax rate from 1.000% to 2.000%.
Workarea Actions Screen Enhancement
Users can now select different tax years using a dropdown selector across all Workarea action screens. The year dropdown is strategically positioned to the left of month, period, or frequency selection fields for optimal workflow. The screen defaults to the year initially selected on the Binder screen, and when the user changes the year, the screen automatically refreshes to reflect the newly selected year. The top-year display updates dynamically to match the selection. The selected year persists as users navigate between different Workarea items, ensuring consistency across Balance Import, D2C Tax Merge, Journal Views, Ledger Views, Tax Return Summary, Tax Return Reconciliation, Prepayment Worksheet, and E-File Processing screens. Additionally, when the month’s selection is set to ALL on the D2C Merge screen, the D2C Merge option is now enabled, consistent with the work area level Balance Import functionality.

What's fixed

Louisiana Locals
Food sales will now transfer correctly to lines 13C and 17B for Washington Parish
West Baton Rouge Parish, line 16a, has been corrected.
Washington
A fix was implemented in release 26.03.1 to correct a B&O tax calculation issue on WA 40‑2406 Page 1. The error occurred when entering Real Estate Commission details on Page 4, Line 18, which caused the Total B&O Tax to compute incorrectly. The calculation logic has now been updated so the totals reflect the correct amount.

What's coming

Alabama – Locals
Kilpatrick AL is a newly incorporated locality that has enacted new sales, use, rental, and lodgings taxes under locality code 9192; Kilpatrick Police Jurisdiction rates are ½ the corporate limit rates; administration is ADOR. OneSource has not been updated at this time as city and police jurisdiction boundaries have not yet been defined. Watch for a future release.
Louisiana Combined Return
The new Louisiana Combined Return became available on the Parish E-file website as of February 1, 2026, for filing January returns. Complete information regarding these changes has not yet been released by the state for software vendors. Therefore, these changes have not yet been implemented into the ONESOURCE Sales and Use tax software. In the interim, clients can file their parish returns manually through the Parish E-file website or upload the current .txt file through Sales Tax Online. State returns can still be filed separately in our software using the direct transmission method, or by downloading the .xml file and uploading it through the LaTAP portal.
Locations Import Fails When Two Effective Frequencies Are Present
An issue was reported where the Locations Import feature failed to properly update Business Code 1 fields for Location Codes after '193' when using "Add and Replace Existing Entries" or "Replace Only" import options with effective period conflicts. The system did not add leading zeros to standardize these codes to five digits and did not correctly resolve effective period conflicts. This issue has been fixed, and the system now properly updates all affected records and standardizes the format without creating duplicates.
Incorrect State Assigned in Place Code Determination When State Column Contains Numeric Values
An issue was reported where the system assigned incorrect state and region values during import when the State column contained numeric values rather than standard state abbreviations. The Place Code determination logic has been corrected to properly assign the appropriate state and region based on the Place Code value regardless of the State column format. This issue has been fixed.
