Assign permissions

To assign global permissions to a user for workareas, entities, and charts, follow these instructions.
tip
You can also assign object-level permissions, such as view, create, edit, and delete, for workareas, entities, and charts by visiting the respective tabs in the User Setup window.
  1. Go to
    User Administration
    ,
    Users
    , and
    Edit
    .
  2. Assign global rights:
    1. Administrator
       - This user is able to authorize other users, assign rights to other users, and suspend users in Sales and Use Tax Compliance.
    2. eFile Transmitter
       - This user's able to submit a return to any of the 7 states where the application currently supports direct e-filing. Currently, these states are: Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
  3. Select global permissions and then select
    Save
     when finished.
