Suspend and reassign a user

Suspending a user removes all of the user's permissions from the system.
Reassigning a user restores the user after they've been suspended.

Suspend a user

  1. Go to
    User Setup
    , and select
    Global
    .
  2. Select
    Suspend for ONESOURCE Sales and Use Tax Compliance
    .
  3. Next, select
    Save
    . The user will no longer be able to open Sales and Use Tax Compliance. Additionally, the user's license will no longer be included in the number of licenses purchased.

Reassign a user from suspended status

  1. Go to
    User Setup
    , and select
    Global
    .
  2. Clear the selection from
    Suspend for ONESOURCE Sales and Use Tax Compliance
    .
  3. Select
    Save
    .
note
If you're not able to reassign a user from suspended status, this means that you've reached the maximum number of licenses. A message will indicate that the application was unable to authorize the user due to an insufficient number of licenses remaining.
