Financial classification

Financial Classification helps you understand account-specific data and map accounts across multiple charts for aggregation, giving you access to consolidated results across various Charts of Accounts.

View a financial classification

To view the financial classification and related accounts:
  1. Go to
    ONESOURCE
    Administration
    Company Info
    Accounts
    .
  2. Select the
    Source chart of accounts
     or
    Summary chart of accounts
     tab.
  3. Select the
    Classifications
     link.
    red classification link
  4. View your account classifications in the list.
    note
    Classification is available at Level 1 only for the
    Summary chart of accounts
    .
  5. Select
    View accounts
     to see the account codes mapped to a financial classification.

Add a classification

To add a classification to a
Source chart of acocunt
:
  1. Select
    Add classification
     on the
    Classifications
     screen.
  2. Select the classification levels, then select
    Add
    .
