ONESOURCE Calendar

ONESOURCE Calendar now integrates with platform Entities. Administrators can create, maintain, and retire entities used across multiple ONESOURCE products, all in 1 central location.

Associate Calendar to entities

  1. Add an entity in ONESOURCE Administration.
  2. Select
    Manage Apps
    on the
    Attributes by Application
    tab.
  3. Connect an application to the entity on the
    Manage Applications
    window.
  4. Switch the Calendar application to green (Associated).
  5. Select
    Apply
    .
  6. Enter information in the required fields, then select
    Save
    .
  7. Select
    Update the current version
    on the next window.
This entity is now linked with Calendar and you can't delete or remove the association.

After an entity is associated with Calendar

Once you create an entity in platform Entities and associate it with ONESOURCE Calendar:
  • View all entities in
    ONESOURCE Administration
    ,
    Company Info
    , then
    Entities
    .
  • You can only use entities associated with Calendar for scheduling and managing due dates.

Calendar in ONESOURCE Platform

  • The entity permanently remains in both platform Entities and ONESOURCE Calendar.
  • Any changes you make in Entities to the Calendar related fields update in ONESOURCE Calendar.
  • You can only manage entities from the platform after the migration and once Calendar fields are available there. The updates will flow to Calendar.
  • The latest entity with a
    Ready
    status appears in the Calendar application.
