Add new import template

Use a template spreadsheet to create a new import file to add new users, change, and delete existing users.

Download template

First, download a current template to make changes.
  1. Sign in to ONESOURCE, then select
    Administration
    .
  2. Select
    Notifications
    , then
    Notification Queue
    .
  3. Select
    Download Export File
    on the export file to change.
  4. Follow the
    Instructions
    tab to make changes to the new import template.

Import users with new template

  1. Once you have populated your import template, return to
    Administration
    .
  2. Select
    Import
    on the Users screen.
  3. Select the file on your machine, then select
    Open
    . The imported user file is ready.
  4. View the status of imported files on the
    Notification Queue
    screen. Here you can search, sort, and refresh imported files.
    1. In Progress
      - Import file uploaded successfully and is processing.
    2. Complete with errors
      - Errors found during the import process. Download the error file to correct the errors and import again.
    3. Complete
      - All rows processed successfully.
    4. Failed
      - A system error happened during the import process. Import the file again. If you continue to receive this message, contact Support.

Files with errors

The Error File includes information from the original import file. The Error column lists the items to correct.
  1. Use the
    Lists
    tab to help you with correcting the import errors.
  2. Search through each tab and verify you have viewed all errors and made all necessary corrections.
  3. Save the error file as a new import file and then import it again.
