Release notes highlight new features and improvements made to ONESOURCE Administration.

What's new

Product permissions screen changes
  • We added new permission features to the
    Product Permissions
     screen.
  • Administrators can now give
    Add
     and
    Delete
     permissions for users for Accounts.
User details screen changes
  • Required Fields section
    • We moved the Required Fields section to the top of the
      User Details
       screen to give clear guidance at the beginning of the form.
  • Bot user account
    • We added a
      Bot User Account
       checkbox to the
      User Details
       screen. This allows identification between accounts that are human users or bot accounts.
    • The
      User History
       report captures the log when the
      Bot User Account
       checkbox is marked on the User Details screen and displays on the Permissions column of the report.
Clients
For products where Clients is enabled, we added a Client ID column to the
Select a Client
 screen.

Upcoming changes

Bot user account
  • In a future release, you'll be able to update
    Bot User Accounts
     through an import and using APIs.
  • The
    User Details
     report will include a new column that specifies whether it is a
    Bot User Account
    .

Known Issues

User history report for bot user account
The
User History
 report only captures the log when the
Bot User Account
 checkbox is marked on the
User Details
 screen. We are working on capturing the log when the
Bot User Account
 checkbox is not marked.
