Build ONESOURCE connectors workflow

  1. Open
    Alteryx Designer
from your desktop or laptop device.
  2. Select the
    Connectors
    tab on the toolbar.
  3. Drag the
    ONESOURCE Login Connector
    to the workflow area.
    note
    The
    ONESOURCE Login Connector
is located at the beginning of the entire workflow.
  4. Drag the
    ONESOURCE Download Connector
    or the
    ONESOURCE Upload Connector
    to build the workflow.
  5. Connect the A (Authenticated) port of the
    ONESOURCE Login Connector
to either the A (Authenticated) port of a
    ONESOURCE Upload Connector
    or
    ONESOURCE Download Connector
    .
    note
    You can also connect the
    ONESOURCE Download Connector
to the I (Input) port of the
    ONESOURCE Upload Connector
    .
    note
    • When you use multiple connectors (for example, a Data Hub Download Connector and Data Hub Upload Connector) in the same workflow, you'll need to drag multiple connectors into the work area.
    • Each
      ONESOURCE Download Connector
      or
      ONESOURCE Upload Connector
      needs to connect to the
      ONESOURCE Login Connector
      .
    • If you have multiple versions of ONESOURCE Connectors, we recommend that you set up 1 version at a time.
  6. After you have built the workflow, select
    ONESOURCE Login Connector
    .
  7. Enter all information on the
    ONESOURCE Products
    window.
    note
    • For the
      Authentication Method
, you can get your authentication information from
      API Administration
. Clients who run workflows on a server may use both methods of authentication. The Private Key is given to you by your company. Contact your Professional Services contact at Thomson Reuters for more details on this method.
    • If you've turned on
      Enable Client Manager
, you'll need to enter your
      Client Number
      . You can find your
      Client ID
      and
      Client Number
      in ONESOURCE.
    • Only one client data can be accessed within the Connector. You can change the client number if you need to access other client data.
  8. Select
    ONESOURCE Sign in
    when you're done.
A prompt will direct you to the
    ONESOURCE Sign In
    page. The
    Username
    and
    Password
are your usual ONESOURCE sign in credentials. Refer to the Single sign-on authentication for Alteryx article for when you sign in for the first time.
