Effective Start and End Date Visibility for Active Scenarios

Users with
Admin
tab permissions can now view
Effective Start Date
and
Effective End Date
information directly within the
Active Scenarios
grid on the
Scenarios
page. Two new columns,
Effective Start Date
and
Effective End Date
, have been added right after the
Name
column, making it easy to see which time period each scenario covers.
These dates will automatically show up whenever they are set up during scenario creation, and they will display in a clear, consistent date format. If no dates were provided, the column will simply appear blank rather than showing any confusing placeholder text. These date fields are for viewing only and cannot be changed from this screen.
note
Please note that these dates can only be set for a scenario from the platform, and not from within State Apportionment; this functionality will take effect once scenarios are onboarded to the platform, which is planned for a future release.
This update does not change how scenarios work. Copying, deleting, archiving, and purging scenarios will continue to function exactly as before, whether or not effective dates are present.

Fix for Tax Rule Rate Values Not Clearing on Re-Import

An issue has been fixed where re-importing a
Tax Rule Rates
file with certain fields left blank did not actually clear out the old values that were previously saved. Instead, the system was incorrectly keeping the old data in place, even though the new file indicated those fields should be empty.
This has now been corrected so that blank fields in a re-imported file will properly clear out old values, and any updated values in the file will correctly replace the old ones. This ensures the system now accurately reflects whatever is in the most recently imported file.

TaxRuleRates Export File Now Includes Additional Payment Information

The
Tax Rule Rates
export file has been updated to include the columns for
Estimated Payments
. The export will now include payment percentage details, minimum tax amount, tax threshold, and safe harbor percentage information for both the current and prior year.
Each of these new columns will be filled in with the correct value for each state, and if a particular value isn't available for a state, that space will simply be left blank without causing any issues with the export.
