Exempt organizations that are required to file an annual information return with the IRS but that do not meet the filing threshold for Form 990 or 990-EZ can file Form 990-N e-postcard. Using ONESOURCE Trust Tax, you can:
  1. Review, enter or update information specific to Form 990-N. The first year you use ONESOURCE Trust Tax, you will need to enter the 990-N information. Each subsequent year, you can review and update the information as necessary.
  2. E-file Forms 990-N with the IRS using the same e-filing process used for federal 1041 returns and other 990 return types. See E-Filing Federal and State Returns and Remitting Balance Due Payments for details. Form 990-N e-postcard must be submitted electronically. There is no paper form.
