Monitoring the Status of Your BridgeBack File Request

After your BridgeBack file request is submitted, you can use the BridgeBack History and Files page to monitor the status of your BridgeBack file request and review the contents of previously submitted files. To access the page, select the
BridgeBack History and Files
main topic.
The status for a request that has not yet completed displays in the grid under the
Current Event Processing
collapsible section.
The following list includes a description of each column in the grid:
  • Batch ID
    -Displays an automatically-generated number used for identifying the created file in the
    Event History
    collapsible section.
  • Started By
    -Displays the initials of the user who submitted the request.
  • Started Date
    -Displays the date the file was initially submitted.
  • Status
    -Displays either the processing status or an error message. If an error message displays, contact ONESOURCE Trust Tax Support at 1-888-706-1041.
As shown in the graphic below, the completed, prepared file is available in the
Event History
collapsible section. To see whether the completed, prepared file is available, you may need to press F5 or select Refresh.
The following list includes a description of each column in the grid under the
Event History
collapsible section:
  • BatchID
    -Displays an automatically-generated number, which is a link. When you select the
    Batch ID
    link, the grid in the
    File Contents
    section is populated with the records in the file.
  • File Name
    -Displays the file name, which is a link, for the compressed BridgeBack file. Regardless of whether your PAN was set up as Send to TAV or Download to file, you can select the
    File Name
    link to download the file.
  • The following are examples of the file name for each type of file that can be created:
    • WS4976201515152749.zip-This indicates a wash sale file was created.
    • UIT4976201515152749.zip-This indicates a UIT file was created.
  • The naming convention for the BridgeBack file is:
  • [BridgeBack Type]PANyyyyMMddhhmmss
  • Where:
  • [BridgeBack Type] is the type of file that was created. WS indicates a wash sale file and UIT indicates a UIT file.
  • PAN is the PAN in which the file was created.
  • yyyy is the year the file was created (for example, 2015).
  • MM is the month the file was created. The month does not include a leading zero (For example, a file created in January is indicated by 1, not by 01).
  • dd is the day the file was created. The day does not include a leading zero.
  • hh is the hour the file was created. The hour does not include a leading zero.
  • mm is the minute the file was created. The minute does not include a leading zero.
  • ss is the seconds the file was created. The seconds does not include a leading zero.
  • File Size
    -Displays the size of the file in megabytes (MBs).
  • Type
    -Displays the message, "physical file on the file share (server)". This column is for Thomson Reuters internal reference only.
  • Date Submitted
    -Displays the date the file was submitted.
  • Submitted By
    -Displays the initials of the user who submitted the request.
Selecting the
BatchID
link adds the BatchID number to the heading of the
File Contents
collapsible section. Except for the
Exclude
column, the data in the grid under the
File Contents
section is the same as the data in the grid under the
Review
collapsible section on the BridgeBack Review page.
