Freezing the Current Quarter Federal and State Estimate Data
When you freeze the current quarter federal and state estimate data, the icons under the
Prepare and File
collapsible section on the Estimate Payments page become unavailable. ONESOURCE Trust Tax users are prevented from making changes to the estimate data from a register, making changes to the estimate options under the Electronic Filing/Back-End Feed
collapsible section on the Admin Controls page, and submitting any Electronic Estimate Summary processing request for the current quarter.Freezing the Current Quarter for 1041 Federal and State Estimate Data
To freeze the current quarter for 1041 federal and state estimate data:
- SelectHOME,AdminthenEstimate Payments.
- Under theEstimate Typecollapsible section, ensure1041is selected for the estimate type.
- Under theEstimate Controlcollapsible section, select theQuarter is completedrop-down list.
- SelectSave.
Freezing the Current Quarter for 990-PF Federal Estimate Data
To freeze the current quarter for 990-PF federal estimate data:
- Open the 990-PF account you want to freeze the current quarter for.
- Select theAccountmain topic then theElectronic Estimatessubtopic.
- Under theEstimate Controlcollapsible section, select theFreeze Processingdrop-down list.
- SelectSave.
