Granting User Rights

User rights are granted to Trust Tax users only after the user is added to the User Administration module of the ONESOURCE platform.  Before starting the information return process each year, ensure that the
Can modify Information Reporting Setup and create 1099 data files
 user right is granted to the Trust Tax users who will set or review and update your information reporting controls and prepare 1099 data.
To grant the
Can modify Information Reporting Setup and create 1099 data files
 user right:
  1. Select
    SETUP
    ,
    Users
     then
    Trust Tax Users
    .
  1. Select the
    User ID
     link for the Trust Tax user you want to grant user rights to.
  1. In the
    Rights
     grid, review the check box for the
    Can modify Information Reporting Setup and create 1099 data files
     user right. Select the check box if it is not selected.
  2. Select
    Save
    .
