- Effective Date of Position
- The month day year date that corresponds to the asset position or open lot data represented by the units held and original face value for all portfolio assets presented in Type 3Q records.
- If blank, we’ll default to the month end assigned to the file we are loading.
- Exclude from WSC Extract
- Only applies to OID assets and indicates the asset should be excluded from any file extracted for Wall Street Concepts Plus processing.

- Ex-Dividend Date
- On, or after, this date, the security trades without its dividend.
- If a dividend-paying stock is purchased 1 day prior to the ex-dividend date, the purchaser is entitled to receive dividends that have been declared.
- If a dividend-paying stock is purchased on, or after, the ex-dividend date, the purchaser is deemed to have purchased the shares without the right to dividends that have been declared.
- If shares of a dividend-paying stock are sold on, or after, the ex-dividend date, the seller retains the right to receive dividends that have been declared.
- The seller forfeits the right to receive dividends that have been declared on shares sold before the ex-dividend date.
- The ex-dividend date is typically the 2nd business day prior to the date of record.
