Inherited Property Indicator (sale after DOD)
When coded with a ‘Y’, the tax lot will be considered as having been acquired prior to the decedent’s date of death.
As a result, the system will automatically assume a holding period greater than 12 months regardless of the acquisition and sale dates. This will result in the gain or loss receiving long-term 20% treatment.
Any other value will be ignored.
The indicator should only be set on transactions, which are held at the time of death.
Investment-Officer Code
Eight-digit code that identifies the trust account's investment officer.
Leading blanks and zeros will be truncated. Example: “002” will be loaded as “2”; “0A” will be loaded as “A”; “__2” will be loaded as “2”.
Lease Number
If a property is subdivided or contains leases, this field is used for the identification number of the unique lease within a property.
