- Tax Effective Date
- For accounting and cash balancing purposesDate of Transaction/Posting Dateis used. If the tax effective date is different from the accounting date, use this field. For tax purposes, you may select to apply the interest payment to next year's return, not the current one. This field would be utilized to show a date within the following year's tax year, which would result in the tax consequences being shifted from this year to the next. For Purchase transactions, this date should match the acquired date on the Sale/Lot record.
