The BarCodes Category

The options in the
BarCodes
 category (referred to as BarCodes options) determine whether a bar code page is printed for various tax documents. BarCode options are available only if you use ONESOURCE Trust Tax Tools.
BarCodes options can be set at the SuperBank or PAN level. The BarCodes options include:
Option
Description
Federal return
This option applies only if you have a license to use ONESOURCE Trust Tax Tools. It determines whether a barcode page prints for federal tax returns.

 to suppress the barcode page.
Federal return (prints as a miscellaneous page)
This option applies only if you have a license to use ONESOURCE Trust Tax Tools. It determines whether a barcode page prints as a miscellaneous page for federal tax returns.

When NO federal return printed (1099, 1098, 5498, or Agent/Custodian accounts)
This option applies only if you have a license to use ONESOURCE Trust Tax Tools. It determines whether a barcode page prints for 1099, 1098, 5498 and
Agent/Custodian
 accounts that have no federal tax return.

Worksheet
This option applies only if you have a license to use ONESOURCE Trust Tax Tools. It determines whether a barcode page prints for worksheets.
