Filing a Tax History Back-End File

Complete the steps listed below if you prepared your tax history back-end file without sending the file to your trust accounting system.
You can use the Documents and Data files page to export a tax history back-end file from ONESOURCE Trust Tax if:
  • Your trust accounting system does not provide an electronic means of receiving tax history back-end files and you want to send the file to your trust accounting system.
  • You want to send the file to your trust accounting system yourself.
To file a tax history back-end file with your trust accounting system:
  1. Select
    HOME
    ,
    Admin
     then
    Balance Due Payments
    .
  2. Under the
    Prepare and File Balance Due Payments
     collapsible section, select File in the
    File
     column for
    Federal and State Tax History Back-End file
     row. The
    Preparing Status
     column displays a
    Preparing
     status until the request finishes. After the request finishes,
    Complete
     displays in the
    Preparing Status
     and
    Filing Status
     columns. To see whether the processing status changed, select
    Refresh
     or Refresh grid data at the bottom of the grid.
