Getting to Know ONESOURCE Trust Tax Insight

ONESOURCE Trust Tax Insight includes several components and navigation tools to help you complete your tasks.
The main components and navigation tools on this page include:
  • The Banner Area is at the top of the page. It includes the product title and the Thomson Reuters logo. This area never changes so you can easily tell you are working in ONESOURCE Trust Tax Insight. The following graphic shows the Banner Area:
  • The Main Navigation Area is located below the Banner Area. The Main Navigation includes the Menu Area on the left and the tax year, PAN and Logout controls as well as the ONESOURCE Trust Tax Insight version number on the right. Selecting

takes you to the Register Listing page. After a menu item is selected, the color changes from white to orange to indicate that the menu is open.
  • The drop-down lists for the tax year and PAN show you the tax year and PAN you accessed. You can switch to another tax year or PAN (if your PAN is a SuperBank association) without logging out of ONESOURCE Trust Tax Insight by selecting the tax year or PAN from the appropriate drop-down list. Selecting
    Logout

  • The Breadcrumb Trail is located below the Main Navigation Area. It includes a horizontal list of the registers and accounts you opened but have not yet closed. Selecting a breadcrumb in the trail takes you directly to the register or account. A breadcrumb is removed from the trail after you close the register or account, or you logout of ONESOURCE Trust Tax Insight.
  • The Breadcrumb Trail displays a maximum of three registers and five accounts. Once you open a fourth register or a sixth account, the register or account you opened first is removed from the trail.
  • The Button Bar is located below the Breadcrumb Trail. It includes controls, such as the
    Register Action
    or
    Account Action
drop-down list as well as a collection of buttons, which are specific to the displayed page. For example, the following graphic shows the Button Bar for a register page:
