- Receiving Wall Street Concepts Factors-Includes information about the transmission and loading of factor files, and the total number of assets included in each file. As tax season progresses, the number of assets typically increases with each transmission. The columns in theReceiving Wall Street Concepts Factorsregister include:
- Received-Displays the date and time the factor file transmitted from WSC was received and logged by ONESOURCE Trust Tax.
- Status-Displays the processing status. The possible statuses include:
- Pending-The file was received by ONESOURCE Trust Tax and is queued for processing.
- Processing-The file is currently being loaded into ONESOURCE Trust Tax. Depending on the number of assets that have factor information, this status may display from 10 minutes to 2 hours.
- Completed-Processing finished. The factors for the day are now in ONESOURCE Trust Tax.
- Needs Attention-An issue occurred when the file was loaded to ONESOURCE Trust Tax. Contact the ONESOURCE Trust Tax Support team to learn more about the issue.
- Ended-Displays a date only after the file is successfully loaded to ONESOURCE Trust Tax. The date indicates that the factors for the day are available for you to review.
- Total Assets-Displays the total number of assets included in the file. This total is based on WSC's solicitation list, not on the total number of assets in your PAN.
- Changed-Displays the total number of assets that have changes to the factor information since the previous transmission. Like theTotal Assetscolumn, this total is based on WSC's solicitation list, not on the total number of assets in your PAN. This column can help you determine whether you need to review an asset again.
- Processing Updates for Wall Street Concepts Files-Includes additional information about the jobs listed in theReceiving Wall Street Concepts Factorsregister.
Registers in the Wall Street Concepts Income Reallocation Base Category
- Assets with WSC Income Reallocation Factors-Identifies the assets that WSC receives factor information for and that the PAN has postings for in the current tax year. After ONESOURCE Trust Tax loads the factor file from WSC, you can use this register to access the asset detail page to review and apply factors.
- The register columns include:
- Asset ID-Displays the CUSIP number for the asset.
- Asset Name-Indicates the name of the asset as coded in ONESOURCE Trust Tax.
- Asset Type-Indicates type of asset as coded in ONESOURCE Trust Tax. Assets with factors received from WSC are not required to have an asset type ofMutual Fund.
- If you manually add factors using ONESOURCE Trust Tax, the asset type must beMutual Fundor the factor flag must be set toYes.
- Holders-Displays the number of asset holders in the PAN. This number is an approximate number, and is automatically updated each week during tax season.
- You should not use this column to determine whether to apply factors. If you do not apply factors because theHolderscolumn shows zero holders for an asset then the asset is not updated with the information from WSC.
- Factor Source-Indicates the source of the factors for the asset. Sources include:
- No Factors-Factors are not present in ONESOURCE Trust Tax for the asset.
- TAV-Factors were loaded from your trust accounting system and were not manually changed in ONESOURCE Trust Tax.
- WSC-Factors were applied from WSC and were not manually changed in ONESOURCE Trust Tax.
- Trust Tax-Factors were manually entered in ONESOURCE Trust Tax, were applied from WSC then changed in ONESOURCE Trust Tax, or were transmitted from your trust accounting system then changed in ONESOURCE Trust Tax.
- Modified WSC-Factors from WSC were modified before they were applied in ONESOURCE Trust Tax.
- When applied-Displays the date factors from WSC were modified before they were applied in ONESOURCE Trust Tax.
- Last WSC Date-Displays the date the latest primary reallocation information was received from WSC.
- WSC Status-Indicates the status of the factors for the asset. Statuses include:
- Not Received-WSC has not transmitted factor information for the asset
- Estimated-The information provided to WSC is only an estimate. Final factors will be provided at a later date.
- Final-WSC received and transmitted to ONESOURCE Trust Tax the final factor information for the asset as indicated by the mutual fund company or corporation.
- Revised-Final factors were revised by the mutual fund company or corporation.
- Undo Prior Reallocation
- No Payments-There are no current year payments or related factors for the tax year.
- Waiting for AMT data that we expect-WSC expects to receive AMT data that modifies the original factors.
- We do not expect AMT for this security-WSC is not waiting to receive AMT data from the mutual fund company or corporation.
- Waiting for Suppl data with unknown probability of receipt-WSC expects to receive supplemental data but WSC cannot determine whether the data will be received.
- We do not expect Suppl data for this security-WSC does not expect to receive supplemental data.
- Waiting for Suppl data with high probability of receipt-WSC expects to receive supplemental data and WSC has determined there is a high probability that the data will be received.
- Waiting for Suppl data with low probability of receipt-WSC expects to receive supplemental data and WSC has determined there is a low probability that the data will be received.
- Final-WSC calculated
- Inc Realloc?-Displays whether there was a change from the original distribution mix. ONESOURCE Trust Tax will receive factors from WSC and you will be able to apply factors regardless of whetherYesorNois displayed.
- Update Date-Indicates the date the last factor information for the asset was received from WSC.
- Tot State Pct-Indicates the total percentage of state factors received from WSC, if there is state apportionment. The total may be greater than 100 percent (especially for New York or New Jersey port authority bonds), which may cause ONESOURCE Trust Tax to have a negative factor for the asset.
- If the total is less than 100 percent, ONESOURCE Trust Tax prorates the factors based on the supplemental detail information so that the total factors in ONESOURCE Trust Tax are 100 percent. This column will continue to show the total percentage received from WSC.
- WSC Name-Description-Displays the name of the asset as it appears in the WSC information.
- Assumption Made-Displays the assumption made by ONESOURCE Trust Tax when inconsistent factor information for an asset is corrected.
Registers in the Wall Street Concepts Income Reallocation for NRA Base Category
- Assets with WSC Income Reallocation NRA Factors-Identifies the assets that WSC receives NRA factor information for and that the PAN has postings for in the current tax year. After ONESOURCE Trust Tax loads the factor file from WSC, you can use this register to access the asset detail page to review and apply factors.
- New NRA Factors from WSC Since Last Applied-Includes the same columns as theAssets with WSC Income Reallocation NRA Factorsregister, but displays only those assets where ONESOURCE Trust Tax received NRA factors from WSC that are newer than those last applied for the asset.
- Assets with Posting Changes Since NRA Factors Applied-Displays assets where the asset data changed since NRA factors received from WSC were last applied. Data changes that result in an asset being included in this register are:
- The tax effective date of a mutual fund transaction was changed to another year in ONESOURCE Trust Tax.
- At least one new mutual fund transaction was loaded from a bridge file.
- At least one mutual fund transaction was updated by a bridge file.
- Weighted Average Difference from WSC NRA Factors-Shows the effect of each NRA factor change received from WSC for an asset. This register is updated by a batch program once each day. If NRA factor changes are applied during the day and the applicable NRA factors are included in this register then the changes do not display until the batch program is run the following day.
