lists in ONESOURCE Calendar, ONESOURCE Workflow, and FileRoom regardless of their status. This includes inactive users, such as:
those disabled due to inactivity
locked out from incorrect passwords
intentionally disabled by an administrator
Why are these users now appearing?
Currently, users exceeding the inactivity threshold can't access ONESOURCE, but they still appear as
Active
in ONESOURCE Administration. An upcoming update will correct this by immediately changing their status to
Inactive
once they reach the inactivity threshold.
What is the impact on these users?
If the
Assigned To
list only shows
Active
users, those who access ONESOURCE infrequently won't appear while they are
Inactive
. Their status will remain inactive until they sign in again.
How do you identify Active or Inactive users?
Some lists already show user status. Our Group Administration includes this information in the exported file, and the FileRoom Administration tools enable you to filter out inactive users. Future updates will enhance lists to show inactive status or will let you filter for
Active
users only.
How do you identify the different types of Inactive users?
Currently, you can't distinguish between users who are inactive due to inactivity and those permanently disabled. We are exploring options to add this feature, but there is no timeline yet.
What is the status of User lists updates?
Not all user lists include inactive users yet. We are continuing to update the dropdowns for selecting users for Notifications. We are working on ensuring the correct users receive email notifications, even if inactive, and will provide updates in future release notes.
