Release notes describe new features and improvements made to ONESOURCE Workflow.

New features

Specify process type for Workflows
  • You can now specify a process type when setting up automation rules for Statutory Reporting.
  • This enhancement will automatically populate the
    Process Type
     when creating a Workflow for a new Statutory Reporting financial period.
New safeguards when updating Task Due Dates
We've added a new safeguard to ensure logical task sequencing in your workflows.
You must now set task due dates:
  • After the previous task's due date
  • Before the next task's due date
Date format standardization in Workflows and Tasks Exports
We've standardized all date-related fields used in Tasks and Workflows exports:
  • Date
     fields without a time component (for example, Due Date or Year End Date) now use the Date format.
  • Date
     fields with a time component (for example,
    Created date
     and
    Completed date
    ) now use the Custom (Date/Time) format.
These changes allow you to see dates in your local format and reduce errors when working with dates.

Addressed Issues

  • The Process Queue now correctly shows task exports as
    Export Tasks
     instead of
    Export Workflows
    .
  • We've fixed the display and export of completed tasks. You'll no longer see completed tasks under the
    Future Tasks
     tab.
