Process types

Process types help categorize workflows and their related tasks, allowing users to view items with a similar purpose. You'll need to create Process Types in the setup area before you can use them in templates or workflows.
  1. Process Types can be added to workflows when first created either manually or via import.
  2. Process Types of existing Workflows can be updated using the Edit Properties action on the Workflows grid.

Create process types

  1. Sign in to ONESOURCE Workflow.
  2. Select
    Setup
    , then select the
    Lists
    tab.
  3. Select
    Add Value
    in the List Values section.
  4. Enter a name for the new process type.
  5. Select
    Save
    .

Use Process Types

To add Process Types to workflows when first created:
  1. Create a new workflow manually or import one.
  2. Select the appropriate Process Type during the workflow creation or import process.
  3. Save the workflow to finalize the addition of the Process Type.
To update Process Types of existing workflows:
  1. Go to the Workflows grid.
  2. Select the workflow you want to update.
  3. Select
    Edit Properties
    .
  4. Choose the desired Process Type from the available options.
  5. Save your changes to update the workflow with the new Process Type.
