Process types
Process types help categorize workflows and their related tasks, allowing users to view items with a similar purpose. You'll need to create Process Types in the setup area before you can use them in templates or workflows.
- Process Types can be added to workflows when first created either manually or via import.
- Process Types of existing Workflows can be updated using the Edit Properties action on the Workflows grid.
Create process types
- Sign in to ONESOURCE Workflow.
- SelectSetup, then select theListstab.
- SelectAdd Valuein the List Values section.
- Enter a name for the new process type.
- SelectSave.
Use Process Types
To add Process Types to workflows when first created:
- Create a new workflow manually or import one.
- Select the appropriate Process Type during the workflow creation or import process.
- Save the workflow to finalize the addition of the Process Type.
To update Process Types of existing workflows:
- Go to the Workflows grid.
- Select the workflow you want to update.
- SelectEdit Properties.
- Choose the desired Process Type from the available options.
- Save your changes to update the workflow with the new Process Type.
